As a mom of three incredible boys, of which the youngest has Down Syndrome, Michelle Tetschner knows a thing or two about being an advocate for what it takes to include everyone in a classroom. In fact, she published the book “Fully Included – Stories to Inspire Inclusion” which is a resource of stories and tools for both parents and teachers to help open their hearts and minds to including all students into the general education classroom. As a result, Michelle has become an advocate for inclusion and loves to help everyone see the true value and benefits in including students of all abilities into the classroom. She sits down with her friend Liz Swift to talk more about why inclusion is worth fighting for and share some stories. Presented by Empowerment Parent Resource Center Northwest Florida
